...In Rawlins the desert starts, accompanied by wild horses and antelopes
water is a very scarce commodity until the two ghost towns of South Pass and
Atlantic City are reached. On to Grand Teton National park a very scenic road
with some great backcountry campsites and undeveloped hot springs are unfolding
themselves.
In Yellowstone National Park Old Faithfull is drawing the attention, but by
leaving the bikes behind, and venturing into the more remote areas of the
park, more nature with less visitors unfolds itself. For the experienced the
chanoe might be an alternative.
A series of lakes to the North-West of Yellowstone are home to among other
